We’re Amy and Brendan Cowley, founders of Larder & Line. We both hold bachelor’s degrees from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, and bring a combined 45 years of culinary and pastry experience, much of it in fine dining.
But at home, we still face the same question: what’s for dinner?
“Running kitchens taught us to think ahead—plan the menu, organize the ingredients, and make the cooking manageable. We brought that thinking into our own home, then built Larder & Line to share it with yours.”

A larder is a place to keep food and ingredients—a well-stocked starting point for a meal. The line is where a restaurant kitchen brings it all together. Larder & Line connects those two ideas: knowing what you need and having a plan to cook it. We’re bringing a little professional kitchen organization to the everyday home kitchen.
